Next step

From your sheet to the door

Copy three columns, paste them into GuestAccess, and your helpers check guests in on their own phones.

  1. 01

    Download the template

Excel, CSV or a printable PDF. It opens in Google Sheets with File > Import.

  2. 02

    Fill in your guests

One guest per row. Type the number of plus-ones, the template shows it as +1.

  3. 03

    Copy name, plus-ones and email

Select those three columns for your guests, without the header row, and copy.

  4. 04

    Paste into GuestAccess

In your event: Add Guest > Paste Guests. Pick the guest type and import. Several types? Filter the sheet and paste one type at a time.

  5. 05

Check guests in at the door

Send your helpers the check-in link with its PIN. They search a name and tap, on their own phones.

Building the list is free. Check-in at the door: EUR 9.99 once per private event, or any Pro plan.

Frequently asked questions

Is the guest list template really free?

Yes. Leave your first name and email address and the download starts right away, and we email you the files too. No account needed. Use it for any party, wedding or event, and change it as you like.

How do I open it in Google Sheets?

In Google Sheets choose File > Import > Upload and pick the .xlsx file. The dropdowns and the summary sheet come along. It also opens in Apple Numbers and LibreOffice.

How do I get my guest list into GuestAccess?

Select the Name, Plus-ones and Email cells of your guests, copy them, and in your event choose Add Guest > Paste Guests. Pick the guest type and import. Email is optional, and phone numbers and notes are not pasted along. With Pro you can also upload the file itself under Import from file, on a computer.

Why are plus-ones shown as +1?

GuestAccess reads "+1" after a name as one extra guest, so a guest with +2 is a party of three. Type a plain number in the column, the template adds the plus sign.

What does GuestAccess cost?

Building the guest list is free, with no limit on guests. For check-in at the door, pick "A private event" when you sign up: check-in is free for two days, then EUR 9.99 once opens it for that event. Running events often? A Pro subscription covers all of them.

Is there a printable guest list?

Yes. Both templates come as a PDF: a blank list with a tick box per guest, to fill in by hand or take to the door.

Your list is ready. Now give your helpers the door.
